HUSKER VOLLEYBALL: Nebraska announces location for 2025 spring match
ORD, Neb. (WOWT) - Nebraska Volleyball will be playing their annual spring match in a city in central Nebraska.
In a release made Friday, the volleyball team will be playing their spring match against South Dakota State in Ord.
The match will take place on May 3 at 2 p.m. at Ord High School.
According to the release, tickets will go on sale on April 12 at 8 a.m. at Ord High School. Tickets will be $15, and all seats are general admission.
Tickets will only be sold in-person, with cash only, by someone at least 16 years old, according to the release. A maximum of four tickets are available to each person.
Doors will open at 12:30 p.m. for the match, and the Huskers will sign autographs following the match.
The match will be televised on Nebraska Public Media and streamed via BIG+. The match will also air on the Huskers Radio Network and on the Huskers App.
Previously, Nebraska played their spring match in North Platte, Scottsbluff, Grand Island, McCook, Kearney, Wayne, and Norfolk. Nebraska volleyball has played in venues across the state in spring matches since 2007.
Also in the spring, Nebraska will host the Kansas Jayhawks at the Bob Devaney Sports Center on April 26 at 6:30 p.m. Tickets for that match are on sale now, according to the release.
