A New York man who allegedly ran away after gunshots were reported in Lincoln on Saturday night turned himself in to local police on Monday, officials said.
Shortly before midnight Saturday, police received a report of gunshots heard in the area of South Great Road, officials wrote on Facebook.
When officers checked the area, they saw a vehicle parked in a conservation lot, and during the investigation they found an AK-47 rifle and a 9mm handgun in the car, police said.
Daniel Hoch, a 20-year-old Lincoln resident, was taken into custody while a second suspect, Justin Warner, 20, of Clay, N.Y., ran away, police said.
Police from Weston, Wayland, Waltham, and Concord assisted in the search for Warner. A drone and K-9 were also used.
On Monday, police said Warner had turned himself in and was taken to Concord District Court for his arraignment.

Warner and Hoch were each charged with two counts of possessing a large-capacity firearm, three counts of possessing a large-capacity feeding device, two counts of possessing a firearm without an FID card, two counts of possessing a ammunition without an FID card, and one count of defacing a firearm serial number, police said.
